Webservices: Solution for Data Quality Control through web services

It is a modality through the use of web services that also has several alternatives within the same service such as MyDataQ Candidates and MyDataQ Autocompletion. The web service modality can be carried out through distribution in the client’s DPC or in a service office. 

MyDataQ Webservices allows to include the main modules of MyDataQ in traditional applications and web applications by using web services installed in the client’s DPC or in DEYDE’s standardization servers. Besides, a training is carried out to the users on the use of MyDataQ WebServices and technical assistance is offered as well as maintenance of the data and software that form MyDataQ WebServices.

MyDataQ Candidates is a web service for address normalisation (MyDataQ Addresses) installed in the client’s DPC or in DEYDE’s normalisation servers. It is an intelligent system that facilitates the capture of addresses, suggests candidates from towns and routes when the client’s entry cannot be normalised. It is totally recommended for applications where it is critical to facilitate the correct recording of the postal address at the very moment of its capture. DEYDE trains the users in its handling and offers technical assistance as well as maintenance of the data and software that form MyDataQ Candidates.

MyDataQ Autocompletion is a web service that has an assisted capture system for names and/or postal addresses installed in the client’s DPC or in DEYDE’s standardization servers. This allows an average saving of 50% of the keystrokes in the capture of names and 65% in the capture of population and route. 

This system acts when the operator presses a key, MyDataQ AutoCompletion shows a drop-down menu with a list limited to the maximum, according to an internal calculation of probabilities, containing names, surnames, towns, roads, street numbers and postal address supplements. From this list, the operator can choose one of them, repeating the process until obtaining, with a minimum of clicks, the name and surname or complete postal address, reaching the level of number and remaining track in the case of postal addresses.

As in the other modalities, DEYDE trains the users in its handling and offers technical assistance as well as maintenance of the data and software that form MyDataQ AutoCompletion.

There is an auto-completion option called MyDataQ Omnibox. This is an auto-completion solution that allows the capture of addresses through a single input line. It helps to capture the full address in the same way any user would type it in, starting with the street name.

In this way, the user receives the most probable suggestions while writing, obtaining the correct address with the minimum number of keystrokes.
