MyDataQ Names: standardisation of names of individuals and companies

What is it?

The MyDataQ Names module is a solution for the normalisation, cleaning and correction of the information related to the names found in a database. With this solution the information is separated in its different components.

How does it work?

By establishing rules applied to data on the names of both individuals and companies, the source information is separated into different fields. In this case we distinguish between title (graduate, doctor, etc…), first name, paternal surname and maternal surname. In addition, the links of both the paternal surname and the maternal surname are separated, if they exist. In addition, the data is enriched by assigning gender and differentiating between individuals and companies.
